The holidays are awesome and spending time with your family is great and all but let’s be real, this time of the year is exhausting. The holidays can drive anyone to drink and in a city that is crawling with bars, it is sometimes hard to pinpoint what bar has the right vibe. After the holiday rush ends, it is important to get back to what really matters and that is drinking in a chill and cozy environment. So look no further, we've got a great selection of chill Montreal bars to escape to if your family is just... too much.
We all know about the hot spot night clubs that offer loud music, annoying drunk people and overpriced bottle services, but not all of us know where those chill and relaxed bars are.
The older I get the more I appreciate drinking alone. That may sound sad and a little pathetic but in reality, it's far from that. I have reached a certain level of comfort and confidence within myself, allowing me to be okay with sipping on a cocktail by myself.
This is why the list of chill bars I made is made up of cool places to either check out solo, with friends or even a date. The options are endless!
These cool bars offer something unique, but they all have providing us with a chill space where we can escape the pressures of the holidays in common.
