I just love it when a new app comes to Montreal.
But I won't lie, I'm not much of a gym rat. When I work out it's usually in my back yard or in my kitchen cause my apartment is too small to move around anywhere else.
But there's something about ClassPass that makes me feel like... maybe I actually would try workout classes in the city if I got to choose them the way I choose take out.
Which pretty much how the ClassPass app works. When you sign up you're presented with access to a variety of fitness establishments in the city.
And, when you go on vacation, you're likely to find that ClassPass has access to spaces there, too. Which is either great news, if you like to workout during your vacations... or it's terrible news cause now you have no excuses.
ClassPass currently exists in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, and now Montreal is added to the list of Canadian cities in a growing list of ClassPass cities that span over 21 countries.
And want to know what's even better than all that? If you're signing up for the first time, you're going to get your first month free.
According to ClassPass, over 150 studios will be available on the app when they launch today, so you're going to have no shortage of choice when it comes to deciding how you want to get your sweat on.
Well known examples of studios that you'll find on the ClassPass app include SPIN/CO, CrossFit Laval, KickFit Lab, Studio Set Pilate, ELMNT and MACHINA.

This means you don't have to decide you like pilates and then only do pilates for the next month until you are so sick of it you never want to do it again and then switch to another gym or studio.
Instead, you're free to try different classes in different spaces... maybe until you find your one true calling. Or maybe forever because variety is the spice of life.
They also note that you can save up to 70% on drop-in rates when you book classes through the ClassPass app which essentially simplifies the entire pre-fitness process.
Once you get to the class, though, you're on your own.
If you've never tried ClassPass before, head to their website right here to try it out for free for a month.
