Domino's Canada Is On A Hiring Spree & Wants People Affected By COVID-19 Closures To Apply
  • As restaurant dining rooms close across Quebec, Domino's Canada is looking to fill open positions.
  • In a press release and on social media, the company specifically calls on people who have been affected by the COVID-19 situation to apply.

One of the most popular pizza chains in the country has announced that it will be hiring more delivery drivers and pizza makers to staff its restaurants. In a press release, Domino's Canada states that "staffing is critical at times like this." Since the COVID-19 outbreak has shut down all restaurant dining rooms in Quebec, Domino's Pizza is now exclusively a delivery service and hopes to grow its staff during this crucial time.

"While many local, provincial, and federal rules are closing dine-in restaurants, the opportunity to keep feeding our neighbours means that a small sense of normalcy is still available to everyone," said Michael Curran, Domino's Pizza of Canada chief executive officer.

"Our stores want to make sure they're not only feeding people but also providing opportunity to those looking for work at this time."

To protect the safety of both delivery drivers and customers, Domino's is now offering touchless delivery if you place an order online or on the app.

"During these difficult times and as always, the safety of our team members and customers is our first priority," said Curran.

With 525 stores across Canada, Domino's is the industry leader in pizza delivery services. Founded in 1960, the pizza chain has over 17,000 stores in more than 90 markets.

Those who are interested in applying can do so on the company's website

Domino's is hiring "delivery experts, pizza makers, customer service representatives, managers and assistant managers" for its many restaurants across the country.
