Enjoy The Nice Weather Now, It's Going Back Up To 37°C This Weekend In Montreal

Here comes the heat again, melting me again like a memory.
Enjoy The Nice Weather Now, It's Going Back Up To 37°C This Weekend In Montreal

If you left your apartment with a sigh of relief the last two days because you could actually feel a breeze on your face... soak it up. Enjoy it now, while it lasts.

Because we're going back to that sweltering feeling starting Thursday and it's going to continue alllllll through the weekend.

Even the beginning of next week is going to less than yes until a god-given thunderstorm will put us out of our misery on Tuesday... though the heat may just keep coming after that.

Below is the weekly forecast, courtesy of The Weather Network, where you can see that jump into the thirties that's going to happen on Friday. Even on Thursday, while it's only slated to be 27°C, that humidex will be delivering our first 30°C-feeling day of the week.

And much like last weekend, which we barely survived through, this coming weekend is going to be a hot and sweaty mess. As always, all I can suggest is to check out one of Montreal's free pools or hit one of the water parks close to Montreal.

And much like last weekend, the evenings are going to provide little respite from the heat, as temperatures are expected to stay as high as 23°C throughout the coming weekend.

So, if you, like me, have been enjoying those open windows at night to let that breeze in, you're going to want to think twice come Saturday... there will be no cool and joyful breeze there. Just more heat.

And as I mentioned above, we can expect a big thunderstorm on Tuesday with up to 15mm of rain and another big rain on Wednesday with potentially the same amount of precipitation.

While that usually means a break in the heat and an end to the humidity, I'm not so sure that's what we're going to get next week...

Even after the rain, we can expect on Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures are clearly just chilling in that 30°C range.

Do you remember back in the day, when summer temperatures used to be 26°C and 30°C was like a freak day?

Classic humans, ruining a good thing and slowly setting the planet alight with pollution... but that's for another article.

Stay shaded and hydrated out there, mes chers.
