Here's Which Montreal Festivals Are Coming Back In 2021 So Far

2021 is just around the corner and with all this talk of a COVID-19 vaccine, it's looking more and more likely that Montreal's festival season will go off in a big way.

While this year has taught us there are no guarantees to anything, a few big marquee Montreal festivals have already announced plans to return next year in one form or another.

When: July 30 – August 1, 2021

Osheaga has already announced that it's planning to come back for summer 2021 with three HUGE headliners: Foo Fighters, Cardi B and Post Malone.

While the ticket price might blow your mind, you can pay it off in installments for the first time ever!


When: January 14 – February 6, 2021

Though it'll only happen online this year, you can still get the full Igloofest experience if you set up some speakers outside, wear inadequate socks and a neon snowsuit, and dance in the street.

POP Montreal 

When: September 22 – 26, 2021

POP Montreal spokesperson Jeremy Spellanzon confirmed to MTL Blog that organizers are planning for POP's 20th-anniversary edition but will "be flexible and adapt [the] event to whatever restrictions and conditions we are faced with."

Montréal en Lumière & Nuit Blanche

When: February 18 – 28, 2021

The full schedule will be out in February, but the famous wintertime festival plans to come back in 2021 with a mix of virtual and in-person events.

The last festival we've heard from is Piknic Électronik. A spokesperson told MTL Blog that an announcement is coming as soon as possible.
