IKEA Is Throwing Its First Ever Montreal House Party

Who wouldn't want to party at an IKEA?
IKEA Is Throwing Its First Ever Montreal House Party

IKEA has been really stepping up its game lately. You wouldn't think the furniture giant would need more publicity.  First was the news that they could be opening up mini boutique IKEA's in city centres. Then they announced they were giving away a $5,000 gift card to one lucky Canadian.

But now they are fulfilling a lifelong dream of hanging out in an IKEA after hours with theirfirst Montreal house party!

The free eventwill take place onAugust 16, and you can be a part of it by just heading over to their site and signing up.

The party will be held at their Cavendish location, which is a quick drive from downtown but annoying to get to if you're bussing or Ubering.

Though the party should be totally worth it! They will be showcasing products like their new range of speakers, SYMFONISK at the party.

There will be music, workshops (hopefully one in the vein of "How To Build Furniture With Your S.O. Without Murdering One Another") and of course IKEA food on hand (there had better be meatballs).

IKEA has held House Parties before but this will be thefirst for Montreal. In 2017 they celebrated their 30th birthday with a week-long pop-up "House Party" in Soho, London.

But this is one of the few parties being held in store. Lucky us!

It still could be cool to check out if for no other reason than to see what anIKEA store looks like after hours with music blaring.

Maybe just leave your wallet at home...

Make sure to register right away, spots are filling up fast!
