Weather in Canada this month has been capricious, to say the least. While wildfires in the west continue to devastate forests and countryside, eastern Canada has had to contend with unseasonably cold temperatures this week.
That cool streak is a bout to come to an end, however. The Weather Network reports that Montreal is in for seven straight days of sun and temperatures above 20 degrees. Perhaps most excitingly, it's going to be sunny and feel like 30 degrees on Sunday.
The actual temperature will peak at 26 degrees. With an actual high of 25 degrees, Monday, too, will feel like 31 degrees. Environment Canada, meanwhile, projects actual highs of 28 degrees (!!!) on both weekend days.
Montrealers will finally have an opportunity to spend a few days enjoying all that the city has to offer in the summer season. Hit the streets to enjoy all that's happening during Grand Prix weekend, including some free parties!
This weekend, F1 fans will also have the chance to walk the famous track on the beautiful Île Notre-Dame in the Saint Lawrence River! The forecasted gorgeous weather both Saturday and Sunday will make it a great day to explore Parc Jean-Drapeau, which encompasses the island.
If you're trying to avoid Grand Prix crowds, check out one of the city's best terrasses to take full advantage of the nice weather while enjoying a nice drink. Read this article for a list of the best sangria in the city.
To top it all off you can get FREE BeaverTails this weekend, as well.
