It's Going To Feel Like Fall All Week In Montreal

Breathe in that fresh fall air! 🍂
It's Going To Feel Like Fall All Week In Montreal
  • It looks like we've said our final farewell to summer, cause it's officially going to feel like fall in Montreal this week.
  • Don't let the end of summer get you down, there's still plenty to do in and around Montreal.
  • Take a look at the forecast for this week below.

If you aren't on board with the whole autumn thing, I'm so very, very sorry for you... because it's officially going to feel like fall all week in Montreal. And honestly, it looks like it's going to continue into next week, meaning we may have actually said our final farewell to summer.

I thought maybe we'd get another little Indian Summer like we saw last year in September, but now it's looking like maybe the temperature won't bounce back.

Which, I have to say, I'm totally okay with. This summer was a sweltering mess and I am ready to move on to a less sweaty existence.

Plus, Montrealers are so good looking in the fall. They've got their layering down to an art form and the tiny-toque-huge-scarf combo makes its return.

And, honestly, it's not like there aren't a million and one things to do in the fall in Montreal (and surrounding areas) just like there are in the summer.

So, don't be bummed about it. Embrace autumn... cause it looks like it's here to stay.

Below is the forecast for the upcoming week in Montreal. Apparently, we can expect a bit of a thunderstorm tomorrow (the POP is 90% so... I'd count on it if I were you).

But following the rain we've got a solid week of beautiful blue skies, bright sun and that fresh fall air that just smells like change.

Whether or not you're starting back up at school this week, the fall is a great time to take a deep breath and make a fresh start.

If you're looking for things to do in the city and out of it so you can make the most of the amazing fall foliage, we've got you covered there, too.

There's Oktoberfest celebrations, a scenic train ride through the Eastern Townships, a lantern festival, and we've even mapped out the best spots to go apple picking

So your tanning days are over. Doesn't mean you can't still make the most of the sun!

Next week is looking like it will be more of an... indoor week. We've got more rain than sun, so you might want to find a new Netflix favourite.

Or, consider taking up a new hobby, like painting!

Okay, okay, now I'm just projecting because I want to take up painting so I can pass the time this fall without a screen in front of my face and can instead appreciate how stupidly beautiful this country is when the seasons change.

Make the most of this beautiful week, Montreal! Because... we all know what happens after fall...
