Barack Obama's well-documented love affair with Canada and our current Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau is simply amazing. One of America's best recent Presidents was last spotted cheering on the Raptors and hanging with Trudeau at a Toronto restaurant, basically making him an honourary Canadian.
He was last spotted in Montreal in 2017 to deliver a speech and discussion about world affairs. Obama and Trudeau had a highly publicized meeting at Montreal's Liverpool House, as well, kicking off a bromance that stands to this day.
This year, Barack is back to present another speech and discussion period at the Bell Centre in November!
The announcement was made by The Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, the former President will be in Montreal as part of the Bell International Leaders series.
Barack Obama will be speaking at the Bell Centre on Thursday, November 14th, 2019. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, June 26th. President Obama was last seen in Canada in Toronto, watching Game 2 of the Raptors vs Warriors NBA Final.

He'll be coming to Montreal as part of the Bell International Leaders series. The series has formerly hosted world-renowned leaders such as Michelle Obama, Nicolas Sarkozy, Bill Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, and many others.
Michel Leblanc, president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal says that The Chamber is proud to host Obama in Montreal and that "Barack Obama has made an indelible mark on history [...] we look forward to another memorable and inspiring day with him in November."
Last time the President was here, Montreal went through some intense Obama fever. Expect no different this coming November! His wife, Michelle, presented her tour to a sold-out Bell Centre audience just a few months ago and the city was absolutely captivated by her grace and presence.
If you still don't know who Barack Obama is, he was the former President of the United States before that guy came into power. Though his eight years in office wasn't without many speed bumps, he inspired a whole generation of Americans with his commitment to human rights and fair politics.
