Forbes just released its annual Canada's Top Employers list which shows that Quebec has made huge strides on the national job market. In fact, six of Canada's best employers call Montreal home. Of the top 50, 10 companies are based in the province of Quebec in growing cities such as Sherbrooke and Quebec City. 

According to Forbes, the Canadian job market has seen incredible growth over the past few years. The national unemployment has reached an all-time low and when coupled with a strengthening economy, Canadian employers see huge growth in businesses and prosperity. 

The list was compiled by surveying 8,000 Canadians who work at companies with over 500 employees. Based on their recommendations, Forbes compiled a list of the 300 best employers in Canada. In the top tiers of Canada's job market, you'll see familiar names such as tech giants Google and Microsoft. 

Technology and media are in fact one of the most dominating industries in the country. Sharing the spotlight is a large proportion of aerospace, engineering, transportation, retail, and education companies.
