We haven't even made it to Halloween yet. Hell, we haven't even made it past Thanksgiving and already the Christmas themes are rolling in. But this is one Christmas theme we do wish would roll in a little faster.
The Miracle Christmas Pop-Up Bar will be back this winter at another cozy, surprise Montreal location. The Miracle family is a company devoted to creating pop-up Christmas bars around the world, and they have cornered that market with over 100 locations worldwide.
And Montreal is in on the Santa action from November 25 to December 31. Once again Miracle will be working with the guys over at the popular speakeasy, The Cold Room, to transform a space into a tippler's winter wonderland.
Working with Joann Speigel, the mastermind behind the brand's cocktails, they have created tiki holiday-themed drinks like the Snowball Old Fashioned (Caramelized Pecan Bourbon, Spiced Molasses Syrup, Wormwood Bitters) and Ginger Bread Flip (Rye Whiskey, Gingerbread Syrup, Tiki Bitters, Whole Egg, Ginger snap cookie crumbs).
As of yet, the location is undisclosed but last year they held the pop-up in Old Montreal, which really is the best Montreal location to capture the holiday spirit.
And what better way to get your Christmas spirit on than drinking from a booze-filled Santa bottom?
This year they are adding a few new things to the roster. On December 2, dust off your tackiest Christmas sweater for the "Ugly Sweater" party. The event will be hosted at all Miracle locations around the world to create the biggest combined ugly sweater gathering the world has wished they've never seen.
While the pop-up bars are all unique in decor, they are a festival of "lights, garlands, ribbons, and tchotchkes inspired by nostalgic vintage Christmas decorations" that you can enjoy while listening to your favorite holiday songs.
If you love the feeling of sipping your drinks in holiday-themed glasses all year round, you'll also be able to purchase custom made glassware designed by Cocktail Kingdom exclusively at Miracle locations.
