Montreal Has "The Best Vegan Restaurant Ever," According To Ashley Tisdale

The star has been giving the city high praise since the beginning of her stay here.

Ashley Tisdale, a former Disney star best known for her role as Sharpay in High School Musical and Maddie in TheSuite Life of Zack and Cody, is currently in Montreal.

The star landed in the city late last week, and she's already making the most of her time here. She's been visiting some well-known landmarks like the Notre-Dame Basilica and shopping at Holt Renfrew.

She has even made the time to try a few of our many restaurants. In fact, the star went out to eat last night at what she calls the "best vegan restaurant I've ever been to."

The star had dinner last night at LOV, as you can tell by her Instagram story. She shared a photo of herself eating at what looks like the Old Port location of the popular vegan restaurant.

Tisdale had the buckwheat sweet potato gnocchi, which is arguably one of the best dishes on the restaurant's menu.

She captioned her post, "Dinner just keeps getting better. Best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. Buckwheat sweet potato Gnocchi in pesto. Bon apetit!"

Montreal's food scene seems to have won Ashley Tisdale over. Aside from vegan food, the star has also raved about our coffee, saying that it's just "bigger and better." 

That photo was taken at Le Cartet, a cozy Old Port bistro. The star was there with her husband. The two spent the weekend relaxing, shopping, and taking in the sights.

Montreal has a thriving vegan food scene. Aside from LOV, staples like Lola Rosa and Sushi Momo delight vegans and non-vegans alike. 

Anyone willing to place bets on how long it will take the star to make her way to La Banquise?
