Montreal Is Getting A Massive Spring Flower Market

A beloved event is returning to Montreal this coming month: the Marché de Fleur d'Hochelaga will be taking place on May 18. It's the perfect occasion to make the most of warm(er) weather, dress cute and take Instagram-worthy photos.

The best part? Going to the event is absolutely FREE.

7 flower stores will be on-site to present their annual flowers, which you can buy to embellish your apartment, patio or little garden. Pst: plants also make great gifts for friends.

TL:DR From May 18 to May 20, a free flower market will be presented at la Place Simon-Valois. It will be a great occasion to buy your flowers for the summer season and take some super cute photos.

At the event, which will take place at Hochelaga's Place Simon-Valois, you will of course be able to peruse and purchase a ton of flowers. In addition, biological products and gardening tools will be available for purchase.

There will also be a super adorable butterfly event! The market will be releasing a bunch of butterflies into the sky at 1:00 p.m. on May 19.

With the start of the warmer season now upon us, we are always looking for fun outdoor events to make the most of sunny days. For more free things to do in May, check out this list.
