At the end of August, a giant Asian street food festival and market is coming to rue Peel in the heart of downtown Montreal. The "Festival Streetfood Montréal 2019 | Cuisine de rue asiatique" will feature food from "all over the continent," according to the Facebook event.

The event, which will be hosted by Dream Lab, is going to be filled with Asia’s most decadent and flavourful streetside treats, so make sure you do not eat before going.

You will be able to spot out over 30 of Montreal’s most loved Asian restaurants as they create some authentic food for you.

Visitors will be able to chose from more than 100 creations, from pad Thai, to fresh mango papaya salad and squid —there is going to be a lot to pick especially for those among us who are always looking to try new things.

There will also be live performances and games going on throughout the weekend so that you and your friends are both full and thoroughly entertained.

Don’t worry; this event will not break your bank! The cost of the dishes hoover between $3-$5 and the higher-end dishes will cost you somewhere between $7-$8.

To make this event even better, this festival is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your pooch with you, just make sure he or she is on a leash.

Note, this is a cash only event, there will be an ATM on site.
