Montreal Is Hosting A Massive Burger Festival This Summer
From tacos, to Caribbean street food, to BBQ ribs, Montreal will be host to numerous festivals dedicated to its diverse culinary communities and talent. Now, we can add burgers to the long list of food celebrations this summer.
For the seventh consecutive year, Le Burger Week is set to return to Montreal. "Every year, from the 1st to 7th of September, restaurants from different cities across Canada make special burgers just for Le Burger Week. Burger-lovers all over get a chance to discover these delicious creations," according to the Burger Week Facebook page.
"Our mission is to find the real best burger in each city with the help of burger-lovers and to engage restaurants around something fun."
For the occasion, participating restaurants advertise deals on unique burger creations. Customers will then have an opportunity to help their favourite burger joint claim a number of prizes, including Most Popular Burger and Best Looking Burger.
2018 winners like le Montréalais from restaurant Paulo & Suzanne and the Ebi Matane from Le Centre Sheraton Montreal offer a glimpse of the scale of the creations to come.
Right now, the organizers of Le Burger Week have put out a call for restaurants to register and participate in this year's event! Le Burger Week "allows for restaurants to showcase their best, while increasing their sales and popularity. We take care of the marketing heavy-lifting, you focus on burger creation and your customers," according to the event website.
For a local restaurant to register, all owners need do is enter their business information and pay a fee on Le Burger Week website here.
In addition to Montreal, Le Burger week will feature restaurants in Quebec City, several regions of Quebec, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Vancouver, and Toronto.
"With an ever-growing network and customer base, Le Burger Week has become a nationwide tradition across Canada."
