Montreal Is Hosting A Massive 50% Off Book Sale This Weekend

Montreal is in for a horrendous weekend.Record-breaking cold temperatures combined with flood-inducing heavy rain will make the next few days miserable.

This is a weekend to curl up with a good book.

Luckily, the Concordia Community Solidairty Co-op Bookstore is making it easier to do just that.

If you feel courageous enough to brave the weather, head to the aptly named "Eat.Sleep.READ Used Book Sale!" where "all used used books" are 50% off! "YES, ALL!!!" the Facebook event page clarifies.

TL;DR All used books are 50% this weekend at the Concordia Community Solidairty Co-op Bookstore. There will also be "a selection of books newly priced to sell at $0.75, $1.00, and $2.00!"

In addition to the general discount, there will be "a selection of books newly priced to sell at $0.75, $1.00, and $2.00!" Other books will be FREE.

There are also special discounts on other items:

  • "10% off all colouring books" !!!

  • "20% off all poetry titles for National Poetry Month"

  • "30% off all t-shirts and tote bags"

  • "40% off all CDs and DVDs"

Who doesn't love a good colouring book on a rainy day??

While you're at it, stock up on books you can take to day-long, leisurely picnics in Montreal parks in the summer months.
