Montreal Is Hosting Quebec's Biggest-Ever Local Liquor & Cocktail Festival This September

This is great news for those that love their gin and tonics and who also love to support the local Quebec economy.
For the first time ever,Montreal will be hosting the largest gathering of Quebec spirits producers all in one place.
Quebec local sprits will be available to peruse and taste at your leisure at this year's Festival Tribute-Hommage aux spiritueux du Québec.
As a huge lover of gin bars like Pourvoyeur who have an extensive list of Canadian gins, with over half of those from the Quebec region (and another half I didn't even know where Quebec based), it's about time!
The first-ever festival of its kind will be held at the Palais des Congrès for one full day on September 7th. If you're in the industry and want to see what other local producers are doing, you can get a sneak peek September 6th.
September 7th is the day that you can taste what 29 Quebec distilleries have to offer but over 100 companies are getting in on the action. It's not just tastings from artisanal distillers but also food and cocktails from Quebec locals.

In a press release, Eric Lafrance, president of the ADAQ said, “it’s a great opportunity to discover distilled beverages representing the Quebec terroir while highlighting the expertise and talents of local producers.”
