A Montreal Mile End Café Is Giving Away Free Plants With The Purchase Of A Latte This Weekend

This is the first weekend in June! In addition to several wonderful events and promotions going down in the next two days, several Montreal institutions are offering some pretty spectacular deals to celebrate the unofficial arrival of summer.

Restaurants, museums, and other venues in the Old Port, for example, are presenting 2-for-1 deals as part of a neighbourhood-wide summer season kick-off. Other, smaller deals may also be found throughout Montreal.

One Mile End café, for example, is giving away free plants with the purchase of a latte this Sunday only! According to Narcity Québec, le Pastel Rita will have available several species of plant for patrons as part of this limited-time promotion.

The café, on boulevard St-Laurent, is one of the cutest spots in the city. As its name suggests, le Pastel Rita is saturated in pastel colours. These walls of soft colour and an abundance of light make for a particularly photogenic space.

Le Pastel Rita is, according to its Instagram page, a place to "chill-out and/or change the world." In addition to regular café far, the restaurant also serves brunch on Sunday between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM.

For further details about the free-plant-for-a-latte promotion, refer to the Narcity Québec article (in French) here! You may also explore le Pastel Rita website here! I also recommend following the café on Instagram here!
