Montreal Police Need Help To Find 2 Violent Suspects That Attacked An STM Bus Driver (Photos)

Every once in a while, Montreal police ask for the public's help to identify suspects or locate missing persons or people suspected of committing crimes. Just a few days ago, the SPVM asked for the public's help in locating a missing teen girl. (Good news: she was found!)

The SPVM took to Twitter again today to post about two men who may have been involved in an assault of an STM bus driver. Their full public notice, which details the physical traits of the suspects and their alleged crimes, can be found here.

The SPVM recounts that on February 18, 2019, at around 5:45 p.m, two suspects assaulted an STM bus driver. The incident took place outside of a store on Côte-Vertu Boulevard in the borough of Saint-Laurent.

The victim of the assault had to be transported to the hospital, reports the SPVM. He suffered from blows to the chest and the head.

The Twitter post can be found below:

The tweet above reads: "The #SPVM is attempting to identify 2 suspects related to a case of assault that occurred on last February 18th. The victim, an STM driver, had to be transported to the hospital."

The suspects are both around 22 years old. The first suspect is of slight build, measuring about 5 feet 11 inches and weighing around 73 k.g.

At the time of the crime, he was wearing blue jeans and a dark rainproof coat. He speaks French.

The second suspect is also of slight build, weighing about 70-75 k.g. He also speaks French.

The police are asking for the public's help in finding and identifying the two suspects. Those with information regarding the pair can anonymously contact Info-Crime at 514-393-1133 or online here.

You can also call 9-1-1 or make your way to your own borough's police quarters to provide any pertinent information. Informers will, of course, be kept confidential and anonymous.
