Time Out Market Montreal has officially announced its opening date, and Montrealers won't have to wait much longer to experience this one-of-a-kind food hall and cultural hub: the giant new space will open its doors on November 14.
You may know Time Out as a magazine, which delivers on awesome local things to do and places to eat and drink (kinda like us, only all over the world). With so much information on what makes a city great, it wasn't long before Time Out decided it wanted to help deliver the best of the best to citizens of these great cities, and the first Time Out Market was born.
In Montreal, we'll be welcoming the Time Out Market right into the heart of the city, as part of the Eaton Centre's newly renovated space. We'll also be welcoming some of the city's best chefs, who will be serving up their specialties in a totally new environment.
And another new detail that is sure to delight: there will be a handful of bars on site, so start planning your post-work 5 à 7.
Time Out Market Montréal will span 40,000 sq ft and showcase 16 eateries, a demonstration kitchen, a cooking school, three bars, a cultural space and a retail area.
The bars won't be pop-ups of any drinking holes we know in the city, but will instead feature a "menu of craft cocktails featuring recipes from ten of the city's best bars," including Coldroom, Le Mal Nécessaire, Le Royal, Le 132 Bar Vintage, Cordova and more.

There will also be a large selection of wines as well as draft beers from "four of the best local breweries in Québec: Dieu du Ciel, Archibald, Microbrasserie de Charlevoix and Pit Caribou."
Restaurateurs that you can expect to see represented in the amazing line-up of eateries include Normand Laprise with Burger T!; Charles-Antoine Crête and Cheryl Johnson of Montréal Plaza; Olive et Gourmando; Claude Pelletier and Mélanie Blouin of Le Club Chasse et Pêche; Moleskine; Jeffrey Finkelstein’s Hof SuCrée; and more.
