Nine Days In The Next 2 Weeks Will Have Ideal Spring Weather In Montreal
  • As the majority of us begin to self-quarantine during these critical times, we can't help but hope that Montreal's weather will at least allow us to go for solo walks to help keep us sane.
  • Well, I have good news for you: the majority of days in the upcoming two weeks will be the perfect temperature for a spring stroll!
  • See the Weather Network's 14-day forecast for Montreal below.

Now that all of Montreal's bars, pools, and gyms are closed, and we have all been asked to practice social-distancing, many of us are unsure of what to do with ourselves. Well, I'm here to let you know that a solo walk will cure you of your cabin fever! And luckily for us, Weather Network's 14-day prediction shows that Montreal's weather is going to allow us to do exactly this during the upcoming weeks.

Now is the time to go enjoy a walk in the sunshine, since, as Premier François Legault told us all in a press conference recently, "it's calming and good for the morale."

If your necessary self-isolation has been stressing you out and a walk just doesn't feel like it'll go the trick, I have some good news for you. The Government of Quebec is going to begin to pay some people who cannot work and are in self-isolation $573 a week. That's definitely a weight off many of our backs.

And on the days where Mother Nature is deciding to hit us with some snow in the upcoming days, there's a myriad of activities you can do in the comfort of your own home to help keep yourself sane.

Some ideas include following Montrealer Antoni Porowski's at-home cooking lessons, shop online for some local hand creams to keep your hands smooth amidst all the handwashing, or indulging in some new literature, thanks to Indigo's up to 60% off sale.

During times of uncertainty, like the ones we are currently living in, it's important to remain as positive as possible. And what better to keep us looking at the bright side of things than a little sunshine?

Below are screenshots of the Weather Network's predictions for the next 14 days in Montreal.

Okay yes, we may just get hit with more snow than we'd hope for this late in March, but we're Montrealers — we can handle it.

Look at the bright side of things by focusing on all the upcoming days that have the word "sunny" in their forecast.

Remember, now is a time to seriously practice social-distancing, which going for a walk by yourself fits in line with!

Quebec health officials released guidelines for individuals to follow to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in the province, you can read about them here.
