The 10th annual Cabane Panache et Bois rond in Verdun will be back again this year, inviting Montrealers to revel in the cabane à sucre experience right here in our own city. Though, Cabane Panache et Bois rond is a lot more than just some tire d'érable sur la neige. Last year the event hosted live music, tons of great food and drinks to try, and a bunch of other fun stuff to get you outside without really feeling the cold.
Because isn't that what we do best here in Montreal?
We manage to ignore (or, at the very least, endure) some of the most intense winter weather around... particularly if there is good food, good drinks, and good company around.
Which, lucky for us, are all things that Cabane Panache et Bois rond supplies.
The event is, understandably, still in the planning phase right now. But with 10 years under their belt, I'm sure organizers are well on their way to announcing more details to get us excited about the epic weekend to come.
Last year was a huge hit, with tons to see and do over the four days.
While the list of vendors for 2020 has yet to be released, you can expect to see some awesome local vendors displaying their handicrafts, local art, and tasty treats.
Plus, there are lots of opportunities to grab a drink and enjoy live local music.

If you're really on the hunt for something to warm you up and get your blood pumping, Cabane Panache has still got you covered.
Axe throwing is an integral part of the weekend and if you've never done it before this is the perfect chance to give your throwing arm a test.
Previous years also hosted street hockey games, pool, and a tug-o-war... what more could you need!?
