Montreal's Impossible Floating Obstacle Course Is Now Open For The Summer

Rejoice, Montrealers! Summer's first day is TODAY and that means the city is about to go off! Though many of you might be planning excursions out of town, why bother when you can stay and enjoy all your city has to offer.

Parc Jean-Drapeau plays host to many of summer's best events. Osheaga, Île Sonic, and many other festivals distinguish Montreal's party island above all others. But did you know Parc Jean-Drapeau has a beach with an incredible obstacle course right on the water?

Aquazilla, located at Jean Dore Beach at Parc Jean-Drapeau is complete with a giant swing, climbing wall, trampoline, and many other obstacles for jumping into the water. This might sound like a kid's activity, but Aquazilla is safe for all ages!

If you've ever seen that show Wipeout think of Aquazilla as kind of like that but way better and way less dangerous! The 30-by-35-metre structure floats on the water's surface, providing endless amounts of fun for the whole family!

Aquazilla challenges you to successfully complete their infinity loop obstacle without falling off once! If you can't make it to the one at Jean-Drapeau, there's even one at Oka Beach! Visit both to see which one you can finish faster.

Watch MTLBlog correspondent Alex Melki brave the obstacle course in the video below:

Aquazilla at Parc Jean-Drapeau is open 7-days a week. Anyone above age 6 can enjoy the course and have the best time ever.

Individual tickets are $13/hour for those under 14 years old and $15/hour for anyone over 14. Both tiers can also get a slightly more expensive rate for unlimited all-day access to the course.

  • A huge variety of slides

  • And much more!

This unique summer experience is like no other in Montreal! Sure, the festivals are awesome, but there's nothing like a dope AF obstacle course.
