- Get more details below!
After a short absence of two months, Montreal's Le Blueboy Creamery reopened its doors on March 5. And to celebrate the event, the famous watermelon bowls will be available in limited quantities for the first few days following their grand return. So act fast!
There's nothing that screams "summer" (or spring since that's the closer season) quite like going to an ice cream parlour. If you ask me, this has to be one of the best date ideas around Montreal — so if you've been crushing on someone, ask them to go Le Blueboy with you!
And this branch clearly isn't cold on the eyes since the white carpet of snow that still decorates the city's floor doesn't seem to have discouraged the owners from going ahead with their project of an early return.
Renowned for its ultra-colourful menu, Le Blueboy is a unique place where you'll find a massive choice of different and delicious delicacies such as purple waffles or churro sundaes.
The decor is anything but ordinary — with walls covered with frames, illuminated signs and other wacky objects that literally make you want to take a picture of everything.
All these elements combined make the place a very busy and appreciated place in town during the summer season and the reopening of the ice cream shop will certainly make many happy in the coming days.
As far as opening hours are concerned, you will be able to go to Mont-Royal Avenue East on Wednesday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 1:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. to discover tasty little ice cream treats.
That being said, it's never too early to start planning a date for an ice cream party and with a little luck, this announcement will manifest great weather!
