Montreal's Society for Arts and Technology Center — otherwise known as SAT — is, hands down, one of the coolest spots in the city. And cool places always have cool things going on, right? If you've ever seen an SAT show, you know they're typically both futuristic and colourful — and this one seems like it'll be no exception. It's newest installation, named "Ethereal," is going to be on as of tomorrow, March 3, 2020.
If you've ever had the chance to visit the Imagine Van Gogh exhibit, and loved it, you should know that this SAT experience will be rather similar to that one. But instead of the works you see being by Van Gogh, they're two artists known as Fraction and Starnault.
Fraction, whose real name is Eric Raynaud, is a well-known French electronic music composer, musician, and producer. LP Starnault is a Montreal-based visual artist.
Together, they have created this immersive installation for locals and tourists of Montreal to get to experience with their own eyes. Ethereal is described as a mixing of the two artists' realities, so you know that the 30-minute show will be full of enough sounds and visuals to get all five of your senses tingling.
The poetic description of the event reads "in homage to the perpetual transformation of matter, Ethereal invites us on a multi-scalar and multi-dimensional initiatory journey that puts into perspective the ephemeral and malleable nature of dizzying human constructions on a sidereal scale, echoing the ethereal nature of human dreams."
To give you a bit of insight into the title of the work, the term ethereal means "extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world," according to Oxford Dictionary.
Below are photo teasers of just how colourful this upcoming show is going to be.

From the pictures, I'm assuming parts of the show are going to have you feeling like you're living in a kaleidoscope.
