Montreal's "Ugly Christmas Tree" Is Officially Coming Back Again This Year

We've all heard of an ugly Christmas sweaters, but an ugly Christmas tree isn't something you hear as often.

TL;DR The famous "Village du Vilain Sapin" is back this year in the heart of the Plateau. On Friday November 30th, the opening night will be taking place and also the magical illumination ceremony. You will also find delicious food and festive drinks to enjoy! this year the tree will be "ticklish".
Although our most cherishes and classic Chritsmas tales seem to have an ugly tree in them, like Charlie Brown's Christmas and the Nightmare Before Christmas as well. I guess an ugly tree is kind of a thing.
Well, Montreal is getting it's very own "ugly" tree again this year at the famous "Village du Vilain Sapin," in English the "Evil Christmas Tree Village" in the heart of the Plateau.
Here is the evil tree in all it's glory! Looks like something straight out of a Tim Burton movie.
On Friday November 30th, the opening night will be taking place and also the magical illumination ceremony.
Not only will you be able to feast your eyes on the ugly tree, but also pop in for a some warm and conforting holiday food and treats. There will be kiosks set up with all kinds of goodies and festive drinks for sale.
Plus this year's tree will have a super creepy new feature. The tree is ticklish!
When you tickle the tree it's supposed to actually start laughing.
