Montreal just opened its doors to the new Michael Kors flagship store on Saint Catherine and Stanley, right in time for Christmas! From the minute I entered the doors, I couldn't help but feel as though I was in New York City, in a boutique on Fifth Avenue.
The cool and clean décor combined with the array of unique bags, shoes, and clothes truly made me feel as if I had just entered the gates of retail heaven... Is it obvious that I'm a fan?
The iconic space that expands over an impressive 9,000 square feet offers products from each of the brands' labels: MICHAEL Michael Kors, Michael Kors Collection, and Michael Kors.
In a press release, Kors opened up about his connection to our city. "We opened our first Canadian store in Montreal, so it’s always been a special place for me, I can’t imagine a better location for our new flagship than in the heart of the city’s downtown district. I know that our Montreal-based customers and tourists alike will appreciate being able to shop all of our lines under one roof."
The dynamic displays that greet shoppers as they walk through the entrance show the brand's "jet-set sensibility."
The location was at a time a bank and it offers bodacious ceilings that give the space a magnificent and almost regal feeling. As you walk through the store, you begin to see the artfully displayed handbags, eye-catching accessories, and the multiple collections of clothing that surround you.
The first floor is also home to a men's and women's "shoe salon." And if that wasn't enough to intrigue you, there is also a Rejuice on the first floor, one of Montreal's favourite healthy food chains.
The café style seating, on-trend textured green walls and healthy bites give customers a place to unwind. On the menu are vegan and organic meals, snacks and beverages allowing clients to "rejuice" for the next part of this notable store.

Up the stairs, an intimate mezzanine awaits. The ready to wear women’s collection features both the seasonal collection and an array of outwear, which is something we all need thanks to the unpredictable climate of our city.
Customers can browse the racks and consult with a personal stylist. Shoppers will also be impressed by the lavish changing rooms, which tops of this indulgent shopping experience.

This majestic store still has one trick up its sleeve. The third floor is home to Michael Kors Studio 1133, a flex store accessible by appointment only.
