Ninja Turtles Are Giving Out Free Pizza On The Montreal Metro Today

You read that correctly.

Today, MJ Anim'action, in collaboration with Double Pizza, has organized an event in which ninja turtles will be handing out FREE slices of pizza between Guy-Concordia and Berri-UQAM stations on the Montreal metro.

The promotion begins at 5 PM, the beginning of rush hour, and continues until the turtles run out of pizza!

There are ten large pizzas in total, according to MJ Anim'action, so hungry commuters will have to act fast.

A post to the MJ Anim'action Instagram story yesterday clarifies that in order to get their hands on a free slice, metro passengers will first have to offer a smile to the ninjas. :)

A Double Pizza spokesperson confirmed the promotion.

This is not the first time MJ Anim'action has organized events featuring ninja turtles. Company owner Mehdi Bennani Smires tells MTL Blog that in years past the turtles have delivered pizza to children in the Ste-Justine Hospital.

MJ was also behind the Star Wars stormtroopers that hit the metro earlier this year. In the video below, the imperial officers can be seen "securing" Lionel-Groulx station.

Ironman has also made an appearance on the metro.

MJ Anim'action is a corporate event and children's parties planning company. "We bring your dreams to life," the company Instagram page states.

Double Pizza is a Quebec-based pizza franchise.
