How many times have you felt too shy to let what's in your heart out, and thought to yourself, "This would be so much easier to do if a donut could say it for me?" Well, your wait is now over. The donut extraordinaire, Krispy Kreme has just released its conversational Valentine's Day donuts. 

Available from January 30 to February 14, you can give the gift of a donut to that special person. Much like the candy hearts from days of yore,  these Valentine's Day specials are also heart-shaped and topped with a short written message.

As this is Quebec, according to the website, there are currently four donuts that include messages written in French: "Je t'<3" (I love you), "Appelle-moi" (Call me), "Sois mienne" (Be mine), and "Amour" (Love).

The four donuts come in different colours and flavours include original cream-filled, chocolate-filled, cake batter filled, and strawberry and cream-filled. 

There are will also be donuts available with "XOXO", "LOL", and "Love."

With four stores in Quebec, one of which is conveniently located in downtown Montreal, it's easy to hit a store and stock up for your wild Valentine's Day celebration; even if that includes you, a box of cream-filled donuts, and Netflix, which doesn't sound all that bad. 

According to a press release, Krispy Kreme takes Valentine's Day and communication seriously. 

“With all the online tools today, we talk so much, yet say so little. There’s so much room for mixed signals and misinterpretation, especially around Valentine’s Day – the one day you definitely don’t want to mess it up,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme. 

But if you're looking to surprise that special someone, forget flowers, jewelry, or a dinner out - basically, these are a card, gift, and donut all wrapped up in one mouth-watering, glazed dessert. And that's what says I love you, even if it's to yourself.

The special Valentine's day donuts can be bought alone, or in a dozen and you can even mix with your favourite original flavours. 

While Krispy Kreme is no stranger to holiday-themed donuts, it's nice to see the French versions represented.
