- Montreal native & Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski, know for his food and wine knowledge on the hit Netflix'show, is enjoying some Quebec treats for the holidays!
- Porowski's Instagram has been plein des choses Québécoise recently!
- Our hearts are all warm and fuzzy knowing the chef is going back to his roots for the holidays.
I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need... and that is to one day run into Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski while he is home in Quebec. While it's unclear if he is, in fact, in la belle province for the holidays, the Netflix star is proudly displaying his Québécois roots and it is possibly the best Christmas gifts he could give us.
Although we can't be sure he is spending the holidays in his home province, we have at least a handful of evidence that Quebec is at least in his heart.
Here is what we do know: the Canadian television personality posted to his Instagram story some classic Quebec treats, and it even says “made in Quebec” on the label. He also says in one of his stories that he “brought candy home to the family," implying that he made the trip back to Canada.
Also, my last major clue was the sweet and familiar sounds of the French language in the background of his stories.
For those of you who don’t know who Antoni Porowski is... shame on you!
The Montreal native is a major television personality, best known for his food and wine expertise on the Netflix series Queer Eye. Since his rise to fame, Porowski has become kind of a hometown hero.
His social media presence allows his followers to gain even more insight on his life and I must say, Porowski seems to be a kind, humble, and cool person — a Montrealer through and through.
Porowski now lives in the Big Apple, but he never seems to forget his MTL roots.
And, it is nice to see that over the holidays he decided to spend some quality time with his loved ones — either physically in Quebec or there in spirit.
Hopefully, Santa is getting me what I truly want this year and that is some facetime with this adorable star!
If he does venture into Montreal, we'll keep you posted!
