Student debt is a huge issue for a lot of Canadians coming out of school. No one wants to be left with crippling monthly payments for the next few years of their life. Well, according to SeekingArrangement's new list of the top Canadian universities for Sugar Babies, there were over 300,000 students in 2019 who have figured out the solution to their school tuition problem. And surprise, a lot of those students are studying at McGill University. 

In case you don't know, SeekingArrangement is a sugar daddy/sugar baby dating site. The company releases an annual report on the 20 Fastest Growing Sugar Baby Schools in Canada and good ole McGill came in at number four. 

In 2019 a total of 805 McGill users were registered on the site. 

The other Quebec universities that made the list were the Université du Québec à Montréal (at number 12) and the Université Laval (16).

In the list of Top Canadian Sugar Baby Universities for 2020, however, McGill came in at number 10.

The number of university students looking for a sugar daddy/momma on SeekingArrangement rose 44% in 2019. With the average monthly allowance of a sugar baby being $2,925, it's easy to see why. 

Ontario universities took the top two spots in the top Sugar Baby universities ranking, with the University of Toronto coming in at the number one spot. Western University and the University of Alberta came in second and third, respectively.*

Students that are interested in becoming a sugar baby are given a free premium membership (users can refine their search with more parameters) if they sign up using their student email.

While the monthly allowance may be the biggest attraction, according to the site, sugar babies also receive other benefits such as "networking opportunities and career or business advantages."

The average age of a sugar baby on the site is 26, while the average age of a sugar daddy is 41, with an average income of $250,000.

In a promotional video, sugar babies explain the perks to such an arrangement like graduating debt-free and given expensive gifts, all while slow-motion running.

Though the video exclusively features women seeking sugar daddies, the site can also arrange same-sex relationships.
