Montrealers Are Sweating All Over Twitter & Sharing Painfully Relatable Heatwave Struggles

During the past few days, Montreal's temperature has been painfully hot. I'd love to say "hotter than hell," but I don't know the exact temperature down there. One thing I can say with certainty is that if you currently have an air conditioner that works, you're living like royalty.

Because the rest of us are out here feeling like we got smacked in the face by Mother Nature with all the sweat pouring down our faces.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't help but think, "is it usually like this?"

Seriously, do we usually have intense heatwaves like this in May?

Turns out, nope, this isn't normal.

May 27, 2020, with its scorching 36.6 C, was apparently the hottest May temperature that Montreal has ever experienced.

So, I suppose it's cool to think that we lived out a record day — if we're trying to focus on the positives here.

Even if the weather is far from cool.

Weather predictions for the city show that rain is on its way, so just hold on a little longer my fellow Montrealers. Until then, here's a little comedic relief to help you forget about the heat.

This local's question is the one that's been on my mind for the last few days.

Who told our girl Mother Nature she could play us like this?

If my memory serves me right, there was still snow on the ground earlier this month.

The tweet above is one of the most accurate weather reports I've read so far.

For those of us whose travel plans for cancelled because of the pandemic, know that you're not alone...

And, if you're feeling personally attacked by this heatwave, I'm right there with you.

It's almost rude at this point.

It. Is. So. Hot.

Montreal really just cannot make up its damn mind.

It feels as though none of us were prepared for this one... So much so that we're not even sure what part of North America we're in.

But, in good news, you can get creative with this heat.

I hope you're all as excited for the rain as I am...
