A local Buddhist temple was the target of vandalism last month. The lion statues and other figures that adorn the entrance of the property were defaced with a sledgehammer.
The SPVM told MTL Blog that since "these are acts committed against religious symbols, they are treated as hate crimes."
Our Reporter Teddy Elliot went to the Quan Am Temple in Côte-des-Neiges and sat down with employee Luu Ngyuen to discuss the incident and review the damage.
