A Montreal Visual Effects Company Is Working On Stranger Things Season 4 & They're Hiring
  • It was just announced that the visual effects company for season 4 of Stranger Things is a Montreal-based company, Rodeo FX.
  • Not only will they be working on Stranger Things season 4, they are also hiring right now!
  • If digital art is your game, or if you just love the world of graphic animation, take a look at these open positions below!

Netflix and visual effects company Rodeo FX will create 100 to 150 new jobs in Quebec thanks to an agreement to create the visual effects for season 4 of Stranger Things in Montreal. This partnership was announced Monday, coinciding with Premier François Legault's trip to California. Since 2015, Rodeo FX has helped produce the visual effects for renowned Hollywood movies such as Deadpool, Blade Runner 2049, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The studio has also produced visual effects for Game of Thrones and HBO's Watchmen. Rodeo FX worked on on Stranger Things season 3, but this is the first time they'll be the lead visual effects creators on the show.

Legault has gone to Hollywood this week, on a goodwill mission to promote and perhaps entice Hollywood producers to come to Quebec more often. As part of his mission, he'll offer producers an opportunity for many financial advantages.

The Premier hopes that he can increase the number of films and series shot in the province. He hopes that contracts and more agreements can be made in the next year.

Rodeo FX is currently hiring for tons of positions in graphic art and design in both Quebec City and Montreal. The jobs sampled below are all located in Montreal.

However, note that new hires will not necessarily work on Stranger Things season 4.
