- "Stranger Things" star Noah Schnapp partnered with the Make A Wish foundation to deliver a Bahamas vacation to a young woman in Montreal.
- Two videos of the encounter offer priceless views of her reaction.
The Make A Wish foundation and Noah Schnapp have partnered up to make a Montreal local's dream come true.
A few weeks ago, we reported that Noah Schnapp, who plays Will in Stranger Things, was in our city visiting his family. He was first spotted at the iconic Orange Julep. But instead of stuffing his face with French fries, this time around, he was changing lives.
Chelsea is a West Island local living with lupus. When she had the chance to share a wish with the Make A Wish foundation, she told the organization that her dream was to go to the Bahamas. Of course, the foundation found a creative way to turn her dream into a reality.
Chelsea is also slightly obsessed with the show Stranger Things. Her mother, Marisa, told MTL Blog that she made plans to binge-watch the entire 3rd season the day it came out.
Marisa says that once the Make A Wish team found out Schnapp was in town, they thought he would be the perfect person to deliver news of the vacation.
Schnapp surprised Chelsea at her home, and as you can see by the look on her face, this experience is one she will likely cherish for a lifetime.
Two videos offer priceless perspectives of the encounter.
Chelsea drops her arms when she sees the Stranger Things star at the door.
Schnapp was "amazing," says Chelsea's mother. He hung out with the family in their home and even Facetimed her friends with her.
Chelsea is thankfully in good health and I am sure she is looking forward to all that is to come in the future, including her epic Bahamas vacation.
Schnapp is Montreal's own claim to the hit Netflix show. Part of his family hails from the city and his visits never go unnoticed.
Netflix has confirmed that Stranger Things is coming back for a fourth season in 2020.
