The Jurassic World Tour Is Bringing Life-Size Dinosaurs To Montreal

Great sentimentalists, thrill-seekers, and lovers of all things reptilian, mark your calendars because the international Jurassic World tour is making two stops in the province of Quebec at the Montreal Bell Centre and Quebec City Centre Vidéotron to thrill dinosaur fans with its terrifying spectacle. Nine huge creatures, up to a dozen meters high, will take centre stage as the theatrical adaptation of the 1990s film comes to life in a show lasting just under two hours (including an intermission during which you can catch your breath).

Although inspired by the universe, the production promises "an original story that brings together human and dinosaur characters in a never-before-seen production."

Spectators will "join forces with a team of scientists to unravel a corrupt plan and save Jeanie, an all-new dinosaur, from a terrible fate," says the event website.

Fans can expect to see velociraptors, triceratops, pteranodons, a baby stegosaurus, and many other heroes and villains in a set that will recreate the fictional Isla Nublar.

The tour stops in Montreal from September 3 to 6, returning to the province with another stop in Quebec City at the end of the month, on September 25, 26, and 27, 2020.

Tickets go on sale on February 4, but pre-sales are scheduled for January 28 and 30.

Until then, you have time to watch all the films again to immerse yourself in the magic of this fascinating universe that imagines the triumphs and dangers of human invention.
