Part Of Montreal's Chinatown Is Closing Off To Host A Massive Asian Night Market This Weekend

Cheap food, free admission, performances, games and more!
Asian night market

It is no secret that our city is known for its decadent variety of flavours when it comes to food. The multicultural aspects of our great collection of communities and boroughs make us one of the most spoiled cities in the world when it comes to eatery options.

We are a city that prides itself on its selection of food. That's probably why so many of the festivals on the Montreal calendar are dedicated to the celebration of cultural dishes and food cultures. One such event is the upcoming Asian "Night Market" that will take place in Chinatown.

For the third year in a row, Foodfest MTL is collaborating with the Comité du Quartier Chinois de Montréal to host the largest Asian Night Market in the city.

The festival will be filled with lip-smacking traditional Asian street foods, live performances and a slew of games, perfect for a night out with friends or family. All of Chinatown will be closed off so beware, parking may be challenging.

There will be 50 kiosks of both activities and food as well as more than 30 Chinatown merchants. This will be a local festival you will not want to miss.

The food will excite your taste buds while the prices excite your bank accounts. The majority of dishes are priced between $3$ and $5 and high-end eats will be between $7 and $8. But best of all, admission to the event is FREE!

There will be an ATM available on site, with multiple payment methods at each kiosk.

We all have our favourite foods but for a lot of us, Asian delicacies are at the top of our list. If you have never had the opportunity to travel to Asia and try tradition street food, this is your chance to do so.
