We Tried A $100 Dumpling Made With A Gold Sheet In Montreal (VIDEO)

A meal fit for a king!
This $100 Dumpling In Old Montreal Is Served With A Gold Leaf

What's great about Montreal when it comes to food is that there really is no shortage of options. You can literally find every type of cuisine, and at every type of price point. So is it really a surprise that in Old Montreal, you can eat a $100 dumpling served with gold leaf? Nope!

Our roving reporter, Alex Melki, recently went to Jiao Dim Sum Bar to see for himself what this expensive delicacy tastes like, and he was definitely was not disappointed.

Composed of fine strips of Wagyu (Japanese beef considered to be some of the most expensive in the world), it is seared with foie gras and bathed in truffle and chili oil soup. To top it all off, and really leave no doubt that this is a meal fit for a king, it comes with a gold leaf and is infused with Rémy Martin Louis XIII cognac for the perfect finishing touch.

This is definitely a meal you will remember for a lifetime, as the flavourful dumpling and ultra-luxurious ingredients fill your mouth and blow your mind. So you better enjoy every last drop, because your wallet definitely won't be forgetting it any time soon!
