Now this is how to camp in style.
This Is The Last Year You Can Camp In A Giant Urban Tent In Montreal's Old Port

If you like the idea of camping but consider yourself an urbanite, there is a perfect spot for you to pretend you're deep in the heart of nature without actually being deep in the heart of nature.

oTENTik Urban Tents are now open and accepting reservations. Located right smack dab in the middle of the Lachine bike path along the canal, this is your chance to camp while still a walk away from a metro and the nearest sangria terrace.

These are seven chalet-like tents set up in front of the Silo No. 5 building (you know, that building everyone thinks is an eyesore but that we personally love) so you are a stone's throw away from the bike path or access to the Old Port.

Each tent comes with pretty much everything you need to pretend you're camping; communal BBQs, showers, mattresses, camping chairs, cooking equipment, and picnic tables. If you're feeling a little chilly, have no fear, there is a small electrical heater to keep you toasty.

Really, all you have to bring is you. You can even rent bedding if you don't want to trek your sleeping bag across the city.

The tents are pretty big and can fit up to four adults and two children. There is no electricity but each tent has solar-powered LED lights and a USB port for charging your phone. Because who could exist without their phone? We're not heathens.

The only drawback is there is absolutely no cannabis products allowed on site... if that's your thing.

This is the last year the tents will be here! They are already filling up extremely fast so we recommend booking now

Just a head's up,  during the weekdays you can book for one night but the weekends have a two-night minimum (Friday and Saturday) stay.

Personally, we think this is the perfect way to camp. Now, go forth and glamp!
