Hidden away in the rolling Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts is a small, wooden tower that evokes the fairytales of your childhood. The intimate, whimsical New England Airbnb is surrounded by manicured gardens and enjoys views of an adjacent "babbling brook." Seemingly enchanted, the space is designed to inspire guests with its quirky design.

The Silo Studio Cottage is just one structure on the larger estate of Santarella the town of Tyringham — "affectionately known as the Tyringham Gingerbread House," according to its website.

In fact, the whole property features "storybook architecture," says the Airbnb listing. 

From the folky main house, with its large roof bolstered by towering rock formations, to the pointy towers that punctuate the property, to the meandering garden path, the Gingerbread House estate brings to life the mythical tales of old.

From the bedroom of the Silo, "massive, multi-paned 'mill windows'" underneath a "35-foot high conical ceiling" offer views of much of the surrounding landscape.

In the sitting room below, curl up by the pellet stove and sip coffee while watching the garden for any wandering nymphs.

But though the Airbnb looks medieval, its amenities are not. 

The Silo Studio Cottage has a clean, modern bathroom, coffee-maker, fridge, and wifi (Netflix movie night on this bed? Yes, please!).
