Located in the tiny municipality of Tingwick, Quebec, about a two-hour drive away from Montreal, lays the perfect gem for all your romance needs.

The romance is nearly palatable since the treehouse is secluded and lit only by candlelight. 

There istotal peace of the human variety. The only guests you may run into, if you're lucky, are forest creatures like deer and the odd coyote.  Because of the latter, pets are discouraged.

Located high up in the forest, you will need to climb two narrow staircases that lead up to the treehouse. Inside you will find a dining table and everything you need to create the perfect dinner, a couch to laze the day away on, and a bed to laze the night away on.

It doesn't come cheap at $139 per night but it is one of those once in a lifetime adventures if you're trying to plan the perfect getaway for your significant other.

A shower, toilet, and sink are about a 3-minute walk away in a cedar hut. And go figure, it's actually quite charming. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a fridge and barbeque to show off your culinary skills.

Really, the only thing you have to bring is drinkable water as the water onsite is not potable.  

Unless you have cat-like eyesight, make sure toarrive before nightfall, as the path isn't lit; nothing says sexy like tripping over branches and swearing at tree roots.

The colder months have a woodburning stove to keep you toasty and to add to the overall perfection of this idyllic spot.
