• The huge cranberry bogs in Saint-Louis-de-Blandford, Quebec will open to the public this fall for a cranberry festival.
  • Over the course of the event, there will be tours of the fields, a cranberry market, and helicopter rides.

A little over two hours away from our city lies one of the most unique and beautiful fall excursions that is sure to leave you and your friends in awe.

From September 26 until October 14, 2019, you and your nearest and dearest have the chance to experience something that you have never experienced before. The Cranberry Interpretation Centre is inviting you to come and familiarize yourself with the harvesting of cranberries.

This is an opportunity for yourself and your loved ones to enjoy a fun-filled day of harvesting cranberries in action while you roam through a “brand-new eco-discovery trail.”

During the tour, there will be culinary demonstrations, tastings and of course a slew of information on all the cranberry festivities.

This one of a kind activity is sure to make you fall even more in love with fall than ever before.

Visitors' journey will begin at the center where they will “climb aboard a covered wagon and prepare to be amazed by the beauty of cranberry harvesting.”

Throughout this adventure, those attending will be able to travel along scenic routes while learning the many secrets of this autumnal berry.

There are three types of tours to pick from, including group tours and, for those fancy cranberry lovers, a VIP tour for up to six people.

The entire tour will take about ninety minutes. When you are finished, peruse the town cranberry market and enjoy some pretty great tasting cranberry infused beer that is sure to make your taste-buds smile.

New this year are also helicopter rides for VIP ticket holders! From the sky, visitors will get a view of the enormous bogs and harvet!

This is an ideal day trip to take with friends or family and the beautiful scenery is bound to make for some pretty epic social media content.
