Hopper, a Montreal-based travel booking company, has officially announced that Travel Deal Tuesday, which will be on December 3, 2019, is returning for its third consecutive year. The company says that consumers should expect some spectacular discounts on both flights and hotels.
Hopper has analyzed its history and database, which, according to a press release, contains about 30 billion flight and hotel prices, and has figured out that the Tuesday after Black Friday has always supplied the best deals when it comes to travelling.
So if you are looking to go on a trip, you should book on December 3, 2019. Hopper predicts that travellers will be able to get up to 70% off the regular price of flights to some destinations and save up to $150 in hotel bookings.
"Travel Deal Tuesday has emerged as one of the best days to book travel because travel demand is low at the end of November and early December," explains Hayley Berg, Economist at Hopper. "Most travellers have already booked their travel home for the holidays, but have not yet started planning trips for the new year. Travel companies are able to incentivize consumers by offering amazing deals."
