I'm someone who adores travelling but absolutely despises connecting flights. We're lucky enough to have some amazing direct flights from Montreal to some pretty underrated European destinations.
Flying direct makes travelling a lot easier and it cuts down your travel time significantly. Who wants a 10-hour layover where you're forced to stay in a boring airport? No one. That's why travel junkies usually search the web for good deals on a direct flight. And, if you're living in Montreal, you have a ton of them to pick from.
For those of you who have yet to travel to Europe, these spots will not only impress you with their gorgeous cityscapes, but you're also sure to fall in love with the food and the culture.
Yes, you can fly direct to Paris, but let's be real, the city is expensive and overrated, so why not venture out to Bordeaux or maybe Lyon? Or, you can even check out what life is like in Geneva or Bucharest.

Palรกcio da Bolsa, which was formerly a stock market building, was built with the intent of impressing European investors during the 19th century, and it will surely impress you.
Toulouse, France
Every week, four direct flights leave Montreal and head to Toulouse, France, and one of these days, you can be on one of those planes.
Toulouse sits near the Spanish border and is known as La Ville Rose, which translates to The Pink City. It earned this name due to the terracotta bricks that are used in the construction of many of the buildings.
The 17th-century Canal du Midi connects the Garonne to the Mediterranean Sea and visitors and locals can travel along it by foot, boat, or bike!
