Video Shows Out Of Control Car Fire On Montreal Highway

A video shared with MTLBlog shows a wild car fire on Montreal's Highway 40 near the West Island's Fairview Shopping Centre.
As of now there are no reports that suggest anyone was in the car at the time of the fire, nor are there any reports of injuries.
It is currently unknown how the fire first began as news is still extremely limited.

The video below, filmed and sent to MTLBlog by Instagram user @onur_taskan21, is said to be one of the first pieces of coverage of the incident.
The video shows the car completely engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke shooting up into the air and travelling across the highway. Roads have not been closed, with other vehicles clearly struggling to drive out of the way of the burning vehicle.
Luckily, the car is pulled over to the side of the road, so the risk to other drivers is limited. It is unknown where the driver of the car is currently.
As of now, the Montreal Fire Department has not released a statement on the event.
Information is limited, though it appears this was an accident.
