The wait is almost over. Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls are finally opening in and around Montreal in June. With stores slowly beginning to reopen, it's thrilling to know that some of our favourite shopping destinations will be back in business. This is great news not only for regular shoppers but also for those looking to decorate their new digs after Moving Day.
They began to open outside Montreal on May 27.
The sites state that "stores will be limiting the number of customers allowed in at any one time."
On their social media pages, the stores explain that they will have new health measures, including enhanced cleaning, sanitation products for customers, protective screens at cash registers, physical distance reminders, as well as masks for employees.
They also encourage shoppers to wear masks for their safety and the safety of others.
Retail stores with their own entrances from the outside were allowed to open in the Montreal metropolitan community (CMM) beginning May 25.
Malls and stores within them devoid of their own entrances are still closed.
The Government of Quebec announced that malls outside the CMM can open on June 1, but hasn't set a date for malls in the metropolis.
The Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls that will reopen on June 3 in the Montreal area will operate from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. from June 3 to 5.
They will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 6.
The websites explain that "additional hours" will soon be announced.
Check out the stores' websites to find an opening location near you.
Although the experience of shopping may be a little different, the feeling of finding something you love at a great price should be the same.
