12 Countries Where Canadians Can Easily Get Work Visas If You Need A Break From Montreal

I love Montreal and have always been proud to call this city home. However, I do see value in packing up your bags and going to live in a foreign country for a while. Many people feel a certain urge to spread their wings and fly away for a bit. And, as a Canadian citizen, there are a variety of countries where you can get a working holiday visa, so you can do exactly that.

The following 12 countries let Canadians explore their country while also giving them the opportunity to work in the midst of being so, which sounds like a dream if you ask me.

For those of you who meet the requirements, you can be granted a working holiday visa for the following countries that can be valid for up to 36 months, depending on the country you choose.

Taking this risk will allow you to not only experience living in a new country but it will immerse you into a new cultural environment that ultimately will help you grow as a person. This is more than a "vacation," this is an experience that will truly change your life and enrich your being.

Some of the applications on this list need to be done in person and may require you to drive to Ottawa to submit your application at the Parliament building. Good thing for us Montrealers, Ottawa is only a short commute away!
