You Can Get Free BeaverTails In Montreal This Week

If you're not a donut fan, good news! You can get free BeaverTails instead this week to celebrate National BeaverTails Day!

Yes, we did announce that National Donut Day is happening this week, as well, and to celebrate, Krispy Kreme is giving away free donuts all day long.

So, maybe BeaverTails decided that Krispy Kreme wasn't going to have all the free fun -- because now they've got their own free sweet treats up for grabs this week.

BeaverTails is a Canadian treasure that has long sold their classic fried dough pastries out of a truck at festivals and other events across the country.

They've expanded their offerings since their cinnamon-and-sugar beginnings and they now offer quite an array of sinfully delicious pastries.

In fact, it looks like they've even expanded into the savoury sector, with an all-new BBQ flavoured BeaverTail.

Is a savoury BeaverTail the festival snack I never knew I needed?

National BeaverTails Day actually falls directly on the same day as National Donut Day... so the sweet-off is real.

To celebrate, you can get a FREE BeaverTail between 2PM and 4PM this Friday, June 7th.

Get their classic Cinnamon & Sugar option, or try out the all new BBQ flavour! Weird but I'm into it. I bet it's awesome.

In Montreal, you can grab your free BeaverTail at the store in the Old Port, located at 123 Rue de la Commune E.

So don't be shouting at the Cinema Guzzo BeaverTail worker asking them for a freebie, it ain't gunna happen.

There are several other locations in Canada that are also celebrating National BeaverTail Day, including the location in Ottawa's Byward Market if the Montreal spot isn't your closest.
