You Can Get FREE Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream In Montreal This Weekend

When it comes to ice cream, Ben and Jerry's are pretty much the king of over-the-top, sweet, full-of-chocolatey-goodness flavours, there's no doubt about it.

And Ben and Jerry's lovers can rejoice this weekend because, in honour of National Ice Cream Day, Skip the Dishes is offering Montrealers a FREE scoop of Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

It's like having two Free Cone Days in one year. Someone pinch me to make sure this is real. My ice cream dreams have just come true.

Nothing beats a free scoop of ice cream, especially on a hot day. City officials are warning that a heat wave is going to hit the city this weekend, so it's an especially good time to enjoy a refreshing treat.

Skip The Dishes is setting up a "Chill Zone" near Place des Arts, at 2097 Rue de Bleury this Sunday between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

The Skip the Dishes team will be handing out free scoops of ice cream, which customers will be able to enjoy in an "Insta-worthy" hangout spot, complete with comfy lawn chairs, a 7 ft tall vacation-inspired photo wall, and the Skip Ice Cream Day truck itself.

It's going to be the perfect place to hang out with friends and beat the heatwave, especially if you're planning a visit downtown for the Just For Laughs festival.

If the lines are too long, or the truck runs out of ice cream, don't worry: there are other options. Check out our list of the best soft-serve ice cream in Montreal for all of your soft-serve needs.
