Montreal’s $1 May Book Sale
Last week we posted about a $1 book sale and the response was overwhelming. In fact when one of our staff members attended it, he said it was absolute chaos! So one thing is clear, Montreal is full of book lovers who are looking to add to their collections. In light of this, we've patrolled the far reaches of the interweb and found you another awesome book sale taking place in Montreal.
Les Amis de la Bibliotheque is organizing its annual book sale from Saturday, May 2nd until Sunday, May 10th. The sale will be taking place at the Etienne-Desmarteau Arena at 3430 rue de Bellechase. More than 95,000 books will be available at dramatically reduced prices - including 12,000 English books.
There will be books, books on tape, CD, DVDs, novels, magazines, comic strip albums as well as thousands of documents dealing with psychology, travel, health, science, history, philosophy and politics. They will also be accepting book donations on-site.
Prices will range from $0.50 to $3 and the sale is cash only.
